Well, after putting an offer on the house on Friday, we got a call the next day that the offer had been accepted. Yay! We were so pumped. I did a dance in our apartment for a few minutes til I got dizzy. Then I rested. Then I danced some more. The pure joy I felt was such a cool feeling to experience. I have been praying hard for our first home asking for a good location, good neighborhood, nice backyard, etc. and God has blown all my hopes out of the water and He has given us more than anything I imagined. I feel overwhelmed by God's goodness. I continue to pray that our house will be a home that honors God.
We close on Oct. 30th. Pictures will shortly follow.

Fingers Crossed
We found the ONE. Last night we went house shopping, again. After dragging my feet through 3 homes that left me feeling hopeless inside, we finally arrived at the 4th home that changed all of the hopelessness to hopefulness. I walked through the house skipping and smiling the whole time. I won't go into detail on the house til we know for sure it's ours. So stay tuned...

Our first post. woo hoo!
The Bellington's are blogging! I never thought I would do this because I'm not much of a communicator. But, this is something I might need to do because I'm not much of a communicator. :)
Let me warn you. My first grade class rubs off on me when it comes to grammar. So please do not judge my writing, I am very much a 6 year old trapped in a 26 (2 days shy of 27, ah!) year olds body.Today was a big milestone in the Bellington household! Jesse and I started looking at houses today! This isn't the look on realtor.com kind of house shopping, this is the drive around with our realtor kind of shopping. And let me tell you, it was sooo much fun!! I found 2 houses that I really like, which I never thought would happen. We still have lots of looking to do, but it's a great start. God is so good!
Before I go, I feel it necessary to explain the title of our blog. For those of you who do not know, Jesse and myself call each other "Bug." It's our nickname that we truly use ALL the time. I rarely call Jesse by his real name (unless forced b/c we're in public). So, when I asked Jess what the title of our blog should be, the first thing that popped out of his mouth was, "how about A Bug's Life?" And naturally I said, "PERFECT!" So there you go. This will simply be ramblings about "A Bug's Life."
